[CZ] Jakub Obrovsky

Tenhle spolek dodnes existuje, sidli v Hodonine a shromazduje nejvetsi pocet Obrovskeho del.

No a krome toho ze maloval a kreslil tak take sochal. No a aby toho nebylo malo, tak jeste psal.

No jo, jenze on tu byl.

Kde?

Ne? ... Uz jo? Tak vidite.

Treti zastavka bude u busty, ktera stoji... no, nekde v Bystrci.

Pokud vam vyjde nektere cislo vetsi nez 10, provedte ciferaci. Pokud vam nektere cislo vyjde zaporne, pouzijte absolutni hodnotu.

Prosime o peclive zamaskovani skryse do puvodniho stavu!

Par poznamek na zaver

[EN] Jakub Obrovsky

He was painter, sculptor, graphic artist and writer, but most importantly, he was born in Bystrc.

It all begins at Christmas, year 1882, when there was a young Jakub born in one of Bystrc homesteads. He lived on this homestead his whole childhood. Even here, he already liked to paint and make some sculptures. In his only 15 years, he decided, that there is nothing Bystrc can offer to him, and he left to Prague to study. He begun at School of Applied Art, but before he was able to finish it, he went to Academy of Art.

During studies, he didn't do geocaching, but entered a association, which is called "Jednota umelcu vytvarnych", which means something like "Association of artists". This association still exists, is located in Hodonin city, and it collects most of Jakub Obrovsky's works. That was just side note, if you want to see something from his works. But you don't need to go to Hodonin, it is far enough to look at images in this listing.

And what it was, he created? After one year study staying in Italy and Greece, he was making a lot of interior building deocrations. So you can see his works in Prague, mainly at Faculty of Law, in Prumyslovy palac at Prague's exhibition centre or in the Prague's Municipal House. He also painted pictures, which was mainly nudity (that's probably why he was so popular, mainly in the male population), also he painted gipsy motives (that would be good today), and nature. And except of this, he was also making sculptures. His sculptures shows human body in motion, and doing various sports - mainly athletics and fencing. And if you think, it is a lot, he was also writing. In his writings, he, in his mind, went back to Bystrc. Funny is, that he was writing in Hantec, which is Brno's specific dialect, that Prague's can't understand.

Because nothing is infinite (not even Jakub Obrovsky), everything ends in Prague, in year 1949. He was so disgusted with the situation, that took place in Czech Republic that days, that he prefered to die. May he rest in piece. We can be angry, that he died somewhere in Prague, not in Bystrc. However, before he died, he said somethink like he didn't want to be burried in Prague under any circumstances, and that he wants to rest in the city where he was born. So we got him back here.

How to find the cache?

Initial coordinates points to place, where Jakub Obrovsky was burried. Wait, you say, that there is no cemetery? You are right! But there was a cemetery, but it was closed down in 1971, and the graves were relocated to cemetery in Zebetin. And that's where you will find first magic number.

You can begin your journey at his grave. It is located somewhere in Zebetin's cemetery. Where? Well, that's your task. As soon as you will find his grave, find out, which digit has lowest number of occurences. That's the magic number A.

Next, you can move to Bystrc. Find a house, where Jakub Obrovsky was born and find out, how many tiles there are on the bottom side of the house. Well... right, I can hear you screaming, and because I would like to live at least to ftf, it will be enough if you will find out, how many windows this house has visible from the street. You will get single-digit number B. Wait! You say, that I didn't tell, where you will find the house? Come on! Did you checked the cache difficulty? No? ... Did you now? Well, do you still think, I will tell it to you?

Third stop is located at the bust of Jakub Obrovsky, which is standing... well, somewhere in Bystrc. There, you should find out, how high is the pedestal, and round this number to milimeters. You will get single-digit number C.

Next stage was the final cache. But local muggles were too active and destroyed the hideout. There is one more stage now, but don't worry, it is easy one. Go to Bystrc's cemetery and find out, how many benches there are in the area. You will get number D. And don't worry, final cache is nearby.

Try to find the cache at N 49° 13.(B)(D-A-B)(B*C) E 016° 31.(B*C+1)(A)(D+C). If some number is higher than 10, do a ciferation. If some number is lower than zero, use it's absolute value.

Please, try to hide cache the same way you found it!

Few notes before you will go for the cache

Cache is available 24/7. The only problem is at stage 1, which has following opening times:

january, february 7 AM - 5 PM
march 7 AM - 6 PM
april - september 7 AM - 7 PM
october 7 AM - 6 PM
november, december 7 AM - 5 PM

You can bring your dogs, but they are prohibited at stage 1, and there is a sign that forbids walking your dog at one of the entrances to last stage.

For help with preparation, mental help and betatest, I give thanks to mudlodcera. For physical help, I give thanks to Akita.
