A micro hidden by the Trestle Trail bridge.
This is a small cache placed near the train bridge on the Trestle Trail. This bridge is somewhat interesting in that it pivots in the middle. When oceangoing ships came up the river, the drawbridge near the site of the present town bridge would open and the train bridge which has gears on the center span would pivot out of the way and allow ships to pass up as far as the present Morton House. There they would be laden with lumber from the Milton sawmills and would then float back down river to top off the load once they crossed the bar.
The cache is a 35 mm film canister near the end of the bridge. The cache is winter friendly, but the trail can get slippery and the cache is near the bank, so care should be taken. Parking can be had at either end of the trail. Cache contains only a log, bring your own writing implement.
