Geocache Description:

(PL): Morannon, Wrota Mordoru (EN): Morannon, Gate to Mordor

To byl Sylwester, goscilismy w Teodorówce w chatce studenckiej.

Szlak do Mordoru / Trail to Mordor

Morannon, Wrota Mordoru / Morannon, Gate to Mordor

It was New Year's Eve, and we were guests in students hut in Teodorówka. While we were reading guest book, we found mysterious map drawn in it. There was hut marked on this map, and Franków Hill, and... strange ruin. There was mysterious wanderer among the hut guests, who revealed to us that ruin is the Morannon, Black Gate of Mordor, and if we have courage we can try to explore the Black Land behind the Gate.

We have immediately gathered the team and in the mist we have reached the Morannon. After a moment of hesitation, we decided to cross the borders and enter the Land of Shadow, and soon we were at the ruins of the Black Tower, Barad-dûr. Only groundsill of the Tower remained, and mysterious wells or adits. After destroing the Ring, Sauron lost his power, and had to escape from here.

However, the land has so far concealed countless secrets and many dangers. There's chest with treasure hidden in the foundations of the Black Tower, waiting to be found by brave explorers. When you stand in the Morannon, look at the north-east, and you will see the ruin of the Black Tower. Be sure to go through the Gate, because the stream next to the Morannon is populated by the remnants of servants of Sauron.

Leave your vehicles near the last human building, the trail to Mordor starts there. Black Gate is about 500 metres to the East from here.
