Geocache Description:

you can hike to this GC or follow a pretty bumpy road in an off road vehicle

The cache is hidden in a very big rock formation by an old abandoned sheep herders tin cabin... The cache is in a grey cylinder and contains a new years horn and party hat, some coins from around the map, and a geo-caching wooden quarter. It took us about 2 hours to get to this spot in a Yamaha Rhino. However I have since found out it is part of the Ballantine trail. If you love exploring the Matazal Mountains and finding undiscovered areas this cache is for you! The tin cabin is pretty much in the middle of nowhere...and you will not see it until you are right up on it..There is a make shift barbed wire fence around the property.
