Det finns över 250 växtarter
på Soldatängen. Namnet har ängen fått av det
soldattorp som låg där riksvägen numera drar
fram.
Ängen vårdas av Naturskyddsföreningen i Motala som
fagrar den varje vår, slår den i augusti samt
låter kreatur beta där på hösten. Gå om
möjligt på stigarna i området.
There are more then
250 botanic species on this meadow. It got its name from a soldiers
cottage that once stood where the main road is today.
The meadow is looked after by a local botanic association and they
clean the meadow in the spring, cut the grass in August and let
cows graze in the autumn. If possible, stay on the
footpaths.
