Album Art was one of the great creations of the vinyl LP era. Album sleeves were big, colorful, creative canvases for artistic expression that lose some of their impact in the low resolution versions we see on our iPods and smartphones today. And the notion of an album as a cohesive grouping of songs is being lost in an iTunes world where every song can be standalone.

Feel free to use some photoshop for minor effects but please do not just photoshop yourself into an existing album cover. The main aspects of the photo should contain yourself and be of your own creation. Enjoy the fun of posing and recreating a situation and try to appreciate some of the artistic effort that went into the originals.
