Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in the centre of Rochlitz. It is easy to access but the tricky part is a high muggle rate.

This cache was placed to gain some more foreign visitors for Rochlitz. It is what we call a nano cache and it contains just a logbook. You have to bring a pen on your own. Take care of all the muggles when logging the cache.

This cache is placed at the city hall. It was build from 1826 to 1828. After you logged the cache you are welcome to do a little sightseeing in the area.

A nice place to visit is the castle of Rochlitz which was motioned for the first time in 995. On your way to the castle you will pass one of the two churches in Rochlitz. The St. Petri Church was mentioned for the first time in 1186. From the castle you can continue your walk to the highest elevation in the area. That is on top of the tower on the Rochlitz hill. From there your way could lead you via “Sörnzig” and the “Schlossaue” back to town. We are sure you will be able to find the one or the other cache on your way! Happy caching!
