The cache is located in a wood which sounds like it's named after someone who lacked courage. The wood is also by a Roman road.
You'll need to drive along this Roman Road and look out for a signpost marking a Bridle-path to the right (if you're heading North-west). [Edit Sep 2022] Although there is space to park by this sign, there is another sign advising not to block the gate, so need to find an alternative place to park and walk back.
This Bridle path leads right past the cache, which is hidden at ground level. There is a "Private" sign nearby but you do not have to pass this to get to the cache. When you've finished with the cache, there is plenty of pleasant Northamptonshire countryside and picturesque villages to explore. There is also Althorpe House, the ancestral home of Princess Diana, which is only about a mile away. (But I think it's only open during July/August).
