"Od te doby, co jsem byl primym svedkem toho, jak ridic
elektricke soupravy c. 15 pri jizde z kopce zjistil, ze brzdy
nepracuji, ani kdyz jim domlouva, a odbehl se do vlecnaku poradit s
kolegou co ted, aby nas pak prisel informovat do mezaninu
cinzovniho domu, kde jsme mezitim pristali, ze uz dal nejede,
abychom vystoupili a nezdrzovali dopravu, nebot obraci, jezdim
elektrikou co mozna nejmene."
Tak takhle zacina legendarni povidka Simka a Grossmanna "Moje jizda
tramvaji".Vtipna situace, pokud se jedna o smyslenou povidku. Pokud
se ale presuneme z povidky do reality a z tramvaje na zeleznici,
dostava tato situace desivy ramec.
Dne 15. cervna 1972 vyjel nakladni vlak cislo 7601 z nadrazi Horka
u Stare Paky smerem k nadrazi Stara Paka. Vzdalenost techto dvou
stanic je po kolejich pouhych 7.5km, ale kdyz se podivame na
nadmorske vysky obou stanic, je tento usek necim vyjimecny. Horka u
Stare Paky jsou v nadmorske vysce 494mnm, kdezto Stara Paka v
pouhych 420.244 mnm. Prevyseni 74 metru na tak kratkem useku
znamena prumerny sklon trati kolem 10 promile, coz je pro vlak
sklon hodne nadprumerny.
Posadka nakladniho vlaku zahy zjistila, ze rychlost vlaku podezrele
vzrusta a ze ucinek brzd nestaci na zvladnuti nalozene soupravy na
takto klesajici trati. Jejich bezmoc a zoufalstvi muselo byt
priserne. Posadka vlaku vsak nezpanikarila a vlak neopustila.
Snazila se, aby rychlost vzrustala co mozna nejmene, protoze moc
dobre vedeli, ze je ceka zaverecne klesani a zatacka na viadukt ve
Stare Pace, za kterym je budova nadrazi a spousta nic netusicich
lidi kolem. K jejich cti budiz, ze celou cestu az do Stare Paky
vytrvale houkali a snazili se tak upozornit na svuj, jiz
neovladatelny vlak.
Na nadrazi ve Stare Pace si vsimli bliziciho se houkajiciho vlaku a
okamzite se snazili podniknout pripravne kroky pro bezpecny prujezd
nakladniho vlaku nadrazim, aby nedoslo k ohrozeni lidi. Mezitim
posadka nakladniho vlaku usoudila, ze vic jiz neni v jejich silach
udelat a pred vjezdem do zatacky smerem k viaduktu z vlaku
vyskocila. Hrozilo totiz, ze pokud vlak pri vysoke rychlosti
vykoleji pred viaduktem, nebo na nem, spadne do hlubokeho
udoli.
Vlak se ale i pres vysokou rychlost na kolejich udrzel a prejel
stastne pres vysoky viadukt. Uz to vypadalo nadejne, ze bez
problemu projede i kolem nadrazi a podari se ho zastavit za
nadrazim, ale na prvnich vyhybkach jaromerskeho shlavi doslo k
vykolejeni lokomotivy, ktera tim vybocila ze smeru volne prujezdni
koleje a narazila do lokomotivy pripraveneho vlaku 4580, ktery stal
na sousedni koleji.
Obe lokomotivy se do sebe zaklesly a vytvorily pevnou prekazku, o
ktere se zacaly tristit nakladni vozy rozjeteho vlaku. Kineticka
energie byla tak obrovska, ze vozy na sebe najizdely a vrstvily se
na sebe do nekolika pater, ramy vozu se ohybaly jako by byly z
vosku a ne z oceli. Nekolik vozu bylo vymrsteno az k hlavni budove
nadrazi, kolem ktere bylo postaveno leseni kvuli oprave strechy.
Leseni se zritilo a narazem zeleznicnich vozu byl proboren i roh
budovy nadrazi. Stastnou shodou okolnosti nekolik okamziku pred
proborenim zdi zamestnanci drah tuto mistnost opustili.
Behem nekolika vterin se z fungujiciho nadrazi stalo srotiste
znicenych vlaku a rozbiteho nebo rozsypaneho nakladu. Skody vznikly
obrovske, ale neskutecnym stestim bylo, ze pri tak velke nehode
neprisel nikdo o zivot. Zraneni utrpeli pouze strojvedouci a
pomocnik z nakladniho vlaku, kteri si ale diky vyskoceni za jizdy
zachranili zivot.
Lepsi predstavu o rozsahu tragedie ziskate z nasledujicich
fotografii porizenych po nehode.
Do mist, kde se toto odehralo vas privede nasledujici loveni teto
kesky.
A ted jiz neco k vlastni kesce.
Jak je jiz u mych kesi zvykem, budou se vam pri odlovu hodit
informace z listingu, takze doporucuji bud zapnout Vasi
fotografickou pamet, nebo mit listing (staci bez fotek) s sebou.
Kdo tuhle radu podceni, sice muze kes odlovit, ale zrejme ho budou
bolet nohy a pripadne mu jeste ujede vlak.
Vychozi souradnice vas privedou jen na parkoviste, kde muzete
odlozit sva ctyr i dvoukolova geozrychlovadla. Pak se vydejte
kousek pesky na souradnice prvni stage:

Zde zjistite dve cisla, potrebna pro vypocet souradnic druhe
stage.
A = .. najdete ho na zlutem policku umistenem na nejblizsim sloupu
nizke lampy verejneho osvetleni.
B = .. najdete ho fasade nejblizsiho drazniho domku, pro znalce
zeleznic "stavedla", cislo je uvedeno v rimskem tvaru.
STAGE 2:

Zde hledejte malou kes, velikosti mikro, v ktere jsou informace pro
odlov finalky.
Pozor, jelikoz jste na frekventovanem nadrazi, nevstupujte zbytecne
do kolejiste (neni to vubec potreba a zamestanci drah jsou na to
haklivi). Pokud je v prostoru druhe stage rusno (treba pred
prijezdem vlaku), radeji chvilku poseckejte, nez se dopravni
situace zklidni. Dobre je se pri odlovu a navratu mikry maskovat
fotakem a hrat si na pritele zeleznice a jako "lovit" zabery koleji
a nadrazi.
UPOZORNENI + PROSBA: Pri odlovu mikry na Stage 2 a pri
logovani finalky radeji vzdy kes vyzvednete a poodejdete na jine
misto. Pokud by doslo k prozrazeni mista ukrytu, obtizne by se kes
obnovovala. Preci jen se pohybujeme na verejnych prostranstvich a
mudla zpravidla vzdy vykoukne za rohem, kdyz se to nejmin ceka, ze?
Mikru prosim vracejte presne na stejne misto, odkud jste ji
vyzvedli.
Pokud pri odlovu ulovite i nejaky zajimavy snimek a prilozite ho k
logu, budu velmi potesen.
V kesi jsou pripraveny pametni karticky pro prvnich tricet
nalezcu.

It was 15th of June, 1972. The cargo train number 7601 departed
from the station Horka u Stare Paky and continued in the direction
to Stara Paka. A distance between those two stations is just 7,5
km, but there is quite big difference in the altitude. Station
Horka is high 494 meters above sea level. Stara Paka Station is
just 420,244 meters high. The degree of incline on this short
passage is 74 meters – quite big for a train.
Soon the crew of the train realized that the speed of the train is
rapidly raising and the brakes can’t manage the weigh of the
cargo. Their hopelessness was huge. The crew however didn’t
leave the train. They tried to limit the increasing speed because
they knew that a final descent, a viaduct and a station full of
people is coming soon. They hooted the whole time because they
tried to warn about this uncontrollable train.
In the Stara Paka Station people noticed the hooting train and
immediately tried to limited a danger. In the meanwhile the crew
realized that there is nothing they can do and left the train
before it reached the viaduct. There was a danger that the train
derail on the viaduct and fall down into the deep walley.
The train however passed the viaduct without derailment. For a
moment it seemed hopefully, but on the first switch in the station
the train derailed and crashed into the locomotive of train number
4580 on the next rail. Vagons of the cargo train started to
smashed. A kinetic energy was so huge that vagons started to pile
into layers! Also the building of station was damaged by some
vagons, which were catapulted by this huge crash. Luckily nobody in
the building was harmed.
During the few minutes the station became a mixture of destroyed
trains, vagons and spilled cargo. It was incredible that nobody
died . Only two men, who jumped from the train, were hurt.

this accident.

The informations from listing will be useful for you. I advise you
to remember them or have the listing with yourself (photos are not
necessary).
The opening coordinates will lead you on a parking lot, where you
can leave your bike or car. Than follow on your foot to the first
stage:

A = you find it on a little yellow field on the nearest low lamp of
street litghtning
B = you find it on the nearest railway house – the number is
in Roman style

You look for a small cache (micro), in which are informations for
the final one. Beware – you are on the busy station, so
don’t step uselessly on the trackage. If there are some
people in the area of second stage (propably waiting for the
approaching train), wait a minute. It’s good to pretend that
you are a „railway fun“ and mask yourself with a
camera.
WARNING AND REQUEST:
When you get a micro cache in the second stage and you log the
final one, go with it to a bit different place. If someone (a
Muggle) reveal a hiding place, it would be really uneasy to find
some other. Please, return the micro cache exactly to the same
place. If you take some interesting picture and attach it to the
log, I would be really pleasured.
There are memory cards for the first thirty finders. You can also
copy two numbers which are under the cover of cache and use them
for the bonus cache.
