Geocache Description:

SK:

Vdaka organizácii At Home Gallery dnes slúži ako výstavná sien umeleckých diel a príležitostná koncertná sála.

### Upozornenie:

The synagogue was built in 1912. During the construction, jewish society applied architectural elements of the romantic style and included elements respresenting the Middle East. Windows of the synagogue were decorated with colourful glass. Interior of the synagogue is combination of multiple architectonic styles, which characterized majority of buildings of the era. Balcony, place designed for women, is devided to two parts.
After the holocaust, the synagogue was unused. All jews, excluding 2-3 families have been deported from Samorin. Since 1996, a new era of life of the synagogue has begun, thanks to organization "At Home Gallery". The synagogue is nowadays used as art gallery and from time to time as concert hall.
