Cmentarz:
W pólnocnej czesci Tarnowa, pomiedzy ulicami Starodadbrowska i M.B. Fatimskiej znajduje sie niezagospodarowany, zadrzewiony skwer. Jeszcze przed 1939 r. znajdowal sie tu cmentarz z I WS. Pierwotnie byl ogrodzony zywoplotem, posiadal kamienny pomnik i zeliwne krzyze z emaliowanymi tabliczkami. Niektóre zródla podaja, iz zwloki zostaly ekshumowane i przeniesione na inne cmentarze, jednak nic na to nie wskazuje. Prawdopodobnie byl taki zamiar, lecz II WS przerwala prace i jedynie usunieto pomnik i nagrobki.

The Cemetery:
In the northern part of Tarnów, between Starodabrowska St. and M.B. Fatimskiej St. there is an abandoned square with some trees. Before 1939 there was a cemetery from WWI in this place. Originally, the graveyard was fenced by a hedge and there was a stone memorial and cast iron crosses with enamelled plates there. Some sources say that bodies buried there were later exhumed and moved to other cemeteries, nothing, however, confirms this theory. Probably, exhumation was intended but WWII stopped the works and only the memorial and crosses were removed. Today nothing really indicates that this is a graveyard of WWI soldiers. In total, 1485 soldiers from different armies and nationalities including Polish, are buried here. The only witness of the existing cemetery is a lonely wooden cross with a plate erected by the family of one Slovak soldier buried here.
The Cache:
The container includes a logbook, pencil and some goodies for trade.
