Geocache Description:

A Sidetracked cache – with a difference

We have placed this cache in memory of Norman Sheard, and Steven Stork who both regularly drove their engines here

Steve Stork was Carol's brother who tragically died from cancer in 2010. Norman was Steves Father In Law who died on a heart attack while on holiday in the Lakes in 2008.

The best day to visit the cache is a summer Sunday when many of the engines will be running, offering rides. The railway operates some Sundays during the winter months also.

AS WITH ALL MY CACHES - DO NOT POST A FIND IF YOU HAVE NOT FOUND THE PLASTIC . ANY LOGS ALONG THE LINES “I WENT BUT THE CACHE HAD GONE MISSING SO I’M CLAIMING IT ANYWAY” WILL BE DELETED
