Kaishu Katsu's bronze statue
It was built for Edo open 400 years as part of a private business on July 21, 2003.
Two bronze statues of Kaishu Katsu who stands in the local Sumidagawa running and of Takeaki Enomoto undertake the feeling with deep connection.
Takeaki that makes an effort to person and Edo bloodless surrendering though it is the same shogun's retainer and guided sea boat thought that remark of Boshin War afterwards is patronage satsuma faction and Hakodate war that is fight at the shogun's retainer end.

勝海舟の銅像
江戸開府400年民間事業の一環として平成15年7月21日に建立されました。
地元隅田川沿いに立つ勝海舟と榎本武楊の2つの銅像は、因縁深い感をうけます。
同じ幕臣でありながら、方や江戸無血開城に努力しその後の戊辰戦争の発言が親薩摩派とも見られる海舟と、幕臣最後の戦いである函館戦争を指導した武楊。
同じ、幕末蘭学を学び海軍の基礎を作り、同じく海外に渡り帰国後、幕府の指導的地位でありながらまったく異なる道を進み、相反するひとつの時代を作ったのは、現代であまり知られる所でないのは残念です。
桜の季節では近くの墨田区役所の中にあるテラスからの眺めがおすすめです。
