Terrain is ok for buggys, but in wet can be muddy and bumpy in places, please be warned that the canal does have water in it at times.
PLEASE do not drive the bridlepaths on this route, they are already ruined especially in the winter when the ground is satuated, by driving these bridlepaths its making it more difficult for other cachers to actually walk as per logs
To add to the caches around Wantage and surrounding areas a further cache to take you on a pleasant walk of Challow and Letcombe. From start in Wantage through Challow and Letcombe the total walk was 5.5 Miles and about 3 hours. All co ordinates have been averaged and tried 3 times, some starting from 9 ft accuracy up to 20 ft accuracy with an Garmin Oregon device.
You are looking for a small box hidden away on a forgotton structure that has featured in many local history books, canal boats use to travel this canal and pass under this very bridge.
