Gyotoku benten's forest 21
This benten park was born in the business of "Union of the readjustment of town lots in land thirdly in Ichikawa City Minami-Gyotoku".
I hear that this readjustment of town lots business begins the business in August, 1966, and required ten years even by the business end.
It seemed to have been a point where the rice field and Hasuda had extended before it was readjusted town lots now though this region was a center of Gyotoku. There was a forest that stood out particularly so, and the benten was enshrined to the forest.
The name of today's "Benten park" arose because this was called "Benten mountain and benten's forests" for a long time and it was familiar. A splendid benten is told that there was a festival shrine until about beginning about Edo period, and only a small shrine remains now. 20-about 90 kind such as [kusu] tab nettle tree [akamegashiwa] Japanese black pines tree grows in this forest, and at present, the first age of a tree is estimated to be 150 years to Furuki by the tree of [kusu].
Because the tree grows thick in the sky after it caches it, coordinates are not steady. Please look for by Geo cashier's intuition.

行徳弁天の森21
この弁天公園は「市川市南行徳第三土地区画整理組合」の事業で誕生したものです。
この区画整理事業は昭和４１年８月に事業を開始し、事業終了まで１０年を要したとのことです。
現在、この地域は行徳の中心になっているが、区画整理される以前は、水田や蓮田が広がっていたところだったそう。そうした中にひときわ目立った森があり、その森の中に、弁財天が祀られていた。
これを昔から“弁天山・弁天の森”と呼ばれ親しまれていたので、今日の「弁天公園」の名称が生まれました。
江戸時代初め頃まで立派な弁財天をお祀りお宮があったと伝えられ、今では小祠のみが残っています。
この森はクス・タブ・エノキ・アカメガシワ・クロマツ等２０種類約９０本の木が生えており、現在、１番古木はクスの木で樹齢１５０年と推定されている。
