When: 2pm on Friday June 25th 2010.
What/Where: A picnic cache event at the viewpoint
overlooking La Coupée, which links Sark and Little Sark.
There will be caching chit-chat and the swapping of travel
items.
Who: The event is open to cachers and their kids and
dogs. I'm not sure if there are any local cachers on Sark but it
would be lovely to meet any who live here or hereabouts.
Why: Because this beautiful little isle is well worth a
visit (I was last here in 1996, I think) and has caches (three, at
the last count) to temp cachers across the water too. With a
'fire-engine' which is towed behind a tractor and a colourful
history Sark is a stunning location to do a spot of caching and -I
think- hold an event. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather.
The official Sark website has
addional information ab out the island.
