Geocache Description:

Hönsgärde Gravplats/Gravesite

Hönsgärde gravfält är från järnåldern med sex högar och mängder med stensättningar. Byn omnämns redan år 1333 som " Hidhinskelf" Skelf syftar på en platå, en höjd eller liknande.

Hönsgärde ligger ca 600 meter från riksväg 77 mitt emellan Uppsala och Rimbo.

Hönsgärde is a burial ground from the Iron Age with six piles and loads of stones The village is mentioned as early as 1333 as "Hidhinskelf" which is a plateau, elevation or the equivalent.

Hönsgärde, located about 600 meters from highway 77 midway between Uppsala and Rimbo.
