A cache located in beautiful Everetts Park Oulton Broad. It was placed for the East Anglian Group Xmas Event. It is intended to make one scratch one's head and think.
The cache is in two parts. The grid reference will take you to the spot where you can discover the co-ordinates to the final location. It requires some skill to retrieve these figures.
When the final cache is discovered please ensure that it is left EXACTLY as it was found, the reason for this is should be obvious. Take care at the final location as there is deep water nearby.
The whole area is flat and suitable for all, including children, with all amenities nearby.
I have removed the following two paragraphs from "Hints" and placed them in this section as I feel they are not hints but essential information to gain access to the cache. You will need to go to Stage 1 to find the co-ordinates of the final Stage 2
There may well be a need to take some equipment with you. Do read stage one hint before you start.
Stage 1
(1) Don't sail past this old timer without raising Alice's glass to the traditional Broads Wherry.
Stage 2
(2) Well done, you must have "Got There". Don't worry if you pull the chain, you won't flush the Broad.
Very well done to Trekbuddies with their FTF, they got there in the end !
You might possibly get very dirty recovering this one...beware.
