Primer Event Cache en la Ciudad de La Plata - First Event Cache in La Plata.

La ciudad de La Plata es un lugar con muchos espacios abiertos y lugares ideales para esconder caches, por lo que el Geocaching seria una actividad que se podría difundir y desarrollar de manera muy positiva en este lugar. Es por esto que me he propuesto realizar un Geomeeting para que geocachers de Argentina y del mundo conozcan la ciudad y para que aquellos interesados en unirse al juego puedan conocer más acerca de la misma de parte de quienes lo llevan a cabo.

El lugar de reunión es el cafe-restaurante Runnie's, ubicado en la esquina de las calles 10 y 46, en pleno Centro platense, el sábado 19 de Diciembre a las 16:00 hs. Proponemos a todos los geocachers que asistan al evento que traigan travelbugs y geocoins para compartir, y hasta algun cache para dejar en la ciudad o sus alrededores, luego saldremos a recorrer la ciudad.

Para arribar a la ciudad desde Buenos Aires pueden barajarse varias opciones:

-Automovil: Tomar la autopista Buenos Aires - La Plata e ingresar a la ciudad por la rotonda de la intersección de las avenidas Diagonal 74 y 32. Seguir las señales para llegar hasta el Centro.

-Ferrocarril: ex-Roca, saliendo de Constitución a La Plata, parando en la estación Terminal de La Plata (Av. 1 y 44) y de allí a pie unas 12 cuadras.

-Omnibus: Costera Metropolitana, saliendo desde la Terminal de ómnibus de Retiro (todos los ramales) y bajando en la parada de Plaza Italia (Av. 44 esquina 8)

129 "Plaza", saliendo desde Plaza Cañada (Retiro - 34.59065 S, 58.372562 W), ramales a La Plata (por Centenario o por Autopista x 13 y 32), y bajando en la parada de Plaza Italia.

Agregen el evento a su Watchlist para estar informados de cambios y modificaciones, y confirmen su asistencia con anticipación para poder determinar si necesitaremos reservar mesas en el restaurante. Cualquier pregunta no duden en contactarme por PM.

La Plata city is a place with many open spaces and ideal places to hide caches, and Geocaching would be an activity that could be done in a very positive way in this place. This is why I proposed myself to do a Geomeeting so geocachers from Argentina and around the world can discover the city, and those interested in joining the game can learn about it from those who play it.

The meeting place is the Runnie's cafe-restaurant, located in the intersection of 10 and 46 streets, in the very downtown of La Plata, on Saturday 19th of December at 4:00 PM. We ask to all assisting geocachers to bring travelbugs and geocoins to share and show, and even some small caches to leave in the city or its surroundings, then we will have a walk around the city.

There are many options to reach the city from Buenos Aires:

-By car: Taking the Buenos Aires - La Plata highway then entering the city at Diagonal 74 and 32 avenues intersection. Follow the signs to reach the "Centro" (downtown).

-Trains: ex-Roca train lines, departing from Constitución and arriving to La Plata Terminal Station (on the intersection of 1 and 44 avenues), then walking about 12 blocks to the downtown.

-Buses: Costera Metropolitana, departing from the Terminal de ómnibus de Retiro (Retiro bus station) and arriving to the Plaza Italia stop (44 avenue and 8 street intersection) in La Plata.

129 "Plaza", departing from Plaza Cañada (Retiro - 34.59065 S, 58.372562 W), buses to La Plata ("Centenario" or "Autopista x 13 y 32"), and arriving to the Plaza Italia stop.
