1st annual New Year’s Day Meet & Eat in Roseville Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

gsix5666: Hope to see you all again next year.

We are thinking about doing a pancake breakfast next year and maybe getting a hall of some kind in the Roseville area. If anyone has any idea's please let me know. Key is a free hall and someone willing to cook for a minimal charge.

My best guess on the number of people that attended the event this year was between 90-110 people.

Thanks You, for the gifts of cache containers (Lock-n-Lock's). I will put them to very good use. Watch for those new hides.

The biggest thanks goes to DeRock for all the work he did on the publishing end.

Geocache Description:

A Geocaching Breakfast

Most people have the day off and the only thing to do is watch a footbal game or two in the afternoon. Why not spend the morning meeting other cachers talking geocaching, cache hides & ideas, puzzles and sharing stories of the hunts from the last year.

Bring your bugs, coins and sig items to trade or exchange.

We will be meeting at

National Coney Island

10 AM

January 1, 2010

Located at the NW corner of

Gratiot Ave. (M-3) and I-696

In Beautiful Roseville, MI

N 42 29.709

W 082 56.307

Local cachers will be placing new caches in the area to be published on New Year's Day for your caching enjoyment. We will also be raffling off FTF certificates for some of these caches at 11am. If anyone would like to add items to the raffle or hide caches for the event please contact me at glennsix@hotmail.com  .

Lists of new caches will be available at the event on paper and electronically so, bring your cables for downloads.

Stop in and have some good clean fun for the whole family. Don't forget to dress warm, after all it is the middle of winter.
