Geocache Description:

Der Rechensteg im Sittertal verbindet die beiden Kleinquartiere Rechen und Burentobel.

Obwohl man es dem Steg nicht ansieht, hat er schon ein beträchtliches Alter. Er wurde 1882 von der damaligen Eisengiesserei Romanshorn für 10 000 Franken erbaut. Die Spannweite beträgt über 65 Meter.
