Ashland Woods Bonus Cache
The cache is not at the posted coordinates. Cachers need not and cannot go there. This mystery cache lies somewhere within the historic Ashland Town Forest. Trail map and historical information available here.

Parking is available at any of the parking spots provided with the other three Ashland Woods Caches listed below. This three stage cache will take cachers to less traveled spots within Ashland Town Forest. The coordinates to begin the quest must be obtained from clues in the North, South, and West Ashland Woods cache finals.

Using a GPSr with waypoint projection and route creation, one can solve the bearing clues without math in less than 10 minutes:

Project a waypoint some large distance (maybe a mile) from each cache final at the bearing given at each. This gives 3 new points in addition to the three cache final waypoints. Label them N, S, W, and N2, S2, and W2. These six waypoints are now in the GPSr.

Then use the create a route function. Create a route that traverses each point to its projection then to another point. For example the following route: N-N2-W-W2-S-S2. The route creates a path on the map with intersection at the desired waypoint. Simply zoom in on the route map to this center point, add it as a waypoint and off you go. It can be done with only 2 cache finals, but using three gives better accuracy.

Stages 1 & 2 are now camo bison tubes each with coords for next stage. Final is a large ammo box. Use natural camo (sticks, bark, and leaves) to fully cover the final.
