An easy hike on an unmarked trail off the Quinimay trail in Cockaponset State Forest will get you to this cache location.
This is the fourth of four caches that we placed today in an area of Cockaponset State Forest in Chester, Deep River and Killingworth. You will be looking for a large lock 'n' lock container that is filled with yellow rubber duckies that I got from my former work colleagues (actually, I got these cache containers from them too). If you have a duck, there is room for a few more!
There are a number of points of entry to this section of Cockaponset. There is a parking area off Rt. 145 Deep River that is at the beginning of a gated road on the west side of the forest; a parking area off Rt. 80 in Deep River at a gated road at the southern end of the forest; or you can enter the area from Butter Jones Road in Chester.
