Tokiwa Park is a park near JR Keihin-Tohoku Line Urawa Station.
In the beginning of Edo Period,there was "GOTEN" that is a rest house of shogun family for falconry.
"GOTEN" was broken down in 1,611.
But this place was was guarded from Edo Shogunate.
About 300 years later,since 1,893 to 1,973 there was Urawa local court.
And Tokiwa Park was constructed in 1,976.
They say that red bricks in the park is a vestigial of the Urawa local court.
Cache is hidden in the park.
Children are playing in the park for ever.
Be aware of not to be mistaken for loiterer.
This cache has only log book,please bring your pen.

常盤公園は、JR京浜東北線の浦和駅近くにある公園です。
江戸時代初期には「御殿」と呼ばれる、将軍家が鷹狩りの際に持ちていた休憩所がこの場所に有りました。
1,611年には「御殿」は取り壊されてしまいますが、その後もこの場所は「御殿跡」「御林」と呼ばれ江戸幕府に保護されました。
それから300年近く経った後、1,893年から1,973年の間には浦和地方裁判所が有りました。
その後1,976年に現在の常盤公園ができました。
この公園に残る赤レンガは浦和地方裁判所の名残だそうです。
キャッシュはこの公園に隠されています。
子供が遊ぶ場所ですので、不審者と間違われないように気を付けてください。
キャッシュにはログしか入っていません。ペンを持って来てください。
