(Babakáj, Babagaj z tureckého „babagaj“)
Osamocená skála cnící z vod Dunaje v blízkosti obce Coronini. Legenda vypráví, že turecký správce Moldovy nechal na skále vysadit jednu ze svých sedmi manželek jménem Zuleika, protože se mu pokusila utéct s madarským šlechticem. Žena se mela na neprístupné skále „káti ze svých hríchu“. Zachránil ji však její milenec, který mel navíc pozdeji možnost se krutému manželovi pomstít. Když byl manžel v boji smrtelne zranen, oznámil mu vítezný milenec, že Zuleika žije a stala se krestankou. Inspirací pro vznik této legendy zrejme byl ceský výklad tureckého názvu skály (podobnost korenu slov „kaj“ a „káti se“).

A solitary rock rising over the Danube, approx. 200 metres far from the village of Coronini at the Romanian bank. According to a legend, the Turkish governor of Moldova left one of his seven wives, Zuleika, on the rock as she tried to flee from him with a Hungarian aristocrat. Zuleika should have repented on this inaccessible rock but was saved by her lover, who, moreover, later had the possibility of revenge to the cruel husband. When fatally injured in combat, the husband was told by the triumphant lover that Zuleika is still alive and has become Christian. Inspiration for this legend lies probably in the Czech interpretation of the Turkish name for the rock (similarity of the words “kaj” and “kat se” (in Czech - to repent))
