Moqui Nipple Traditional Geocache

The Plan

While placing the Moqui Micro cache this past summer, I spotted a beautiful formation rising prominently above a trackless juniper forest. I was drawn toward it like a baby to milk. How to best reach the rock and whether I'd be able to ascend it once I reached it were compelling unknowns. After careful topo map research, I devised a plan.

The Implementation

There were doubts during each stage of the journey. One challenge after another presented itself along the way. Though I was able to persevere, I was never sure of success until I was standing on top. The unknown aspects of this endeavor made eventual success all the more rewarding, and the Nipple now holds a small cache in a crawlspace just below the toprock.

You have the coordinates to a spot on the Earth, the rest is up to you. In order to maintain the level of mystery and challenge experienced while preparing for and placing the cache, seekers are provided no locational information regarding access or route. Please respect that theme when posting logs to the cache page.

Reaching the cache will require rock climbing.

I found a pair of climbing shoes to be sufficient,
but you may prefer to rope up, so be prepared.
