We have chosen a remote location with many scenic views. This is a
true geocaching adventure, and as such we shall provide very little
detail in the hope that it will be all the more rewarding if and
when you locate the cache. Take warning, this will not be a quick
find…we have taken sufficient steps to ensure that the cache will
never be accidentally wandered upon…it is extremely well hidden!
You will find that GPS signal reception is quite poor in the
general location of the cache. We have done our best to provide you
with the most accurate coordinates possible. (Average of 9
waypoints set with 18Ft accuracy)
We leave the tasks of parking locations and trail selection to
you. We recommend wearing boots or hiking shoes with good ankle
support as the cache is about .75 miles from the nearest parking,
with the only paths being sometimes rocky and uneven. You will not
require any special equipment however you may want to bring a
decent hiking stick if you have one.
Team_Epitome asks that you respect this environment, it is a
beautiful section of the woods and we hope to keep it that way.
Although we have hidden this cache where it is not clearly visible,
there is no need to go turning over fallen branches, or brushing
aside fallen leaves. There is no need for digging (so please don't
do it) nor is there a need to disturb any plantlife.
A note to the potential seeker: Several have tried before you
and failed. This one is hard...on purpose, as the 4.5 difficulty
rating suggests. This isn't going to be easy to find and we want
you to consider that before trying. We think that it can be
located. It is not impossible, as some have proven. We ask that you
please review the comments posted below from those who have tried
to locate this cache, BEFORE you go about trying to find it
yourself. If you still desire to take a crack at it, we wish you
all the luck in the world.
If by some luck you do manage to find the cache, we ask that you
replace it with the dilligence we took in hiding it. Our desire was
to create a difficult cache to find and we ask that you help us
keep it that way.
NOTICE: There are areas in the vicinity of the cache that are
private property. They are very clearly marked and impossible to
wander onto without knowing it. Please do not tresspass, it is in
no way required to find this cache.
