Let's meet at Dunn Brother’s Coffee (at 530
University Avenue SE in Minneapolis). It's at the corner of
6th and University (up the hill from the Stone Arch Bridge).
At 9am join us for socializing, visit the travel bug table, and
peek at others' pathtag and geocoin books!
Don't forget to bring the kids!!--I'll bring some kid-friendly
games like chess, backgammon and mancala for those who wish to
play!
We'll also have a cookie exchange (maybe we'll eat them at the
event too).
Finally, I'd like to have a toy donation
station instead of a white elephant gift exchange instead. Save up
the gently-used toys that your kids no longer use and bring them to
the event. Your kids can go through my kids' toys and vice-versa,
and what isn't taken will go to a toys-for-tots type of
organization or local womens' shelter. No need to wrap
anything; let's reuse what we have and keep the kids entertained in
the anxious days before Christmas! If you'd like to bring some new
toys to donate, we'll add those to the pile as well.
I look forward to sharing time with friends--new and "old"
over coffee, cookies, conversation, and games!
The shop has high-speed internet so that you can plan your
post-event geocaching route.
