Welcome to Puzzle Street Ukraine!
If you like puzzles, this is the place for you. Inspired by my Puzzle Street series in Nova Scotia (Canada), this is a place where you can pick up some finds in a hurry on a nice tree-lined path... but only after spending a lot of time at home working out the coordinates. Each cache in the series is a puzzle that you must conquer before getting your cache find.
Once you're ready to hit the trail, here are a few things that might help.
- The Caches are generally Winter Friendly - This means they are not at ground level. However, there is some variation in their hiding spots as different opportunities presented themselves.
- All Caches are Micros - Unfortunately, the muggle traffic in the area would cause anything large to disappear too often. The cache sizes range from micros (film canisters and pop bottle top containers) to even some nanos (bison tubes). After the first few, you should have an idea what the containers look like.
- Please Honour the Puzzles! - By this I mean play fair and solve the puzzles for the caches you find. Don't go out in the winter the day after someone found them and look for footprints off the path in the snow. :)
- All Puzzle Solutions Can Be Checked Online - I've entered all the final coordinates for the puzzles into http://www.geochecker.com so you can confirm whether you have correctly solved a puzzle (removing the need for those pesky checksums).
