Geocache Description:

This park and grab is one of a series of Halloween caches we are placing in locations that are reputed to be haunted. Other caches in the series are: GC1ZZK2, GC1ZZAT, GC200EH, GC200EM, GC200DJ, GC200ET, GC200C1. Happy H(a)unting!

From the location of this cache you can look across the street to an ABQ landmark. La Posada was built in 1939 by New Mexico native Conrad Hilton. This is a beautiful hotel with a long history, so not surprisingly, a few ghosts. Most of the hauntings happen in rooms on the 4th and 7th floors - an elderly woman in a pink gown, a woman dressed in 40's era garb, a face with no body, eerie noises and moans. There have been many murders that occurred in this hotel - the most recent in 1995. (Information from Haunted New Mexico by Cody Polston).
