On September 20, 2010 a new stretch of the Bay Trail opened up for hikers, bikers, and runners behind Moffett Federal Airfield, for a unique view that few people could see until now. The area is located in the Don Edwards S.F. Bay Wildlife Refuge, so no physical geocaches are allowed.
The posted coordinates for this cache will take you to a viewing area with plaques describing this important stretch of the Pacific Flyway, where you will need to look closely at the pictures. The final for this multi-cache is not within the boundaries of Don Edwards. It is located at N 37° AB.CDE W 122° FG.HJK. The Refuge is open from dawn until one-half hour after sunset. Please cache only during these hours.
