Geocache Description:

This is a mystery/puzzle cache. The cache is *not* at the coordinates posted above. The puzzle at the indicated link on this page must be solved to find the actual cache coordinates, which are within a reasonable distance to the posted ones, which can be used as parking. Both the puzzle and the find should be fairly easy and lots of fun!

Yeeeargh! Strange sights avast in Mendon, fer I swear on Davy's ghost that pirates have come to Hundred Acre Pond, although I know not how. Some say they were even seen lumberin through the woods carryin something mighty heavy... Could they be offloadin some of their ill-earned booty? If you think ye be made of sumthin more than pillow stuffin and yer not lilly livered, ya might be able to still track em down.

Listed coordinates are for the Pirate's Dock, where Greenbeard's ship was sighted. As for where the booty might be, I wonder...

Cache is a 2.5 gallon Lock-N-Lock w/ plenty of room for largish items! (see photo). It is initially stocked w/ all sorts of pirate loot, and a hefty logbook to record your adventures or ruminations.

Click **here** to launch the puzzle in its own browser window.

Trades welcome! Please keep items limited to trackables and/or theme related! (TBs, geocoins/pins, pirates, nautical, faux treasure, coins, non-precious gemstones, etc.) You may notice Greenbeard himself lurking in the cache...

FTF Prize: an unactivated 2007 Pirates of Harriman geocoin from Oakcoins in faux gold/ruby (see photos) Congrats 72CCT-Che!

Note: Solving this cache requires using a browser with Adobe Flash 9 support enabled! You may also wish to turn up your sound!
If you cannot get the puzzle to load correctly (you do not see the animated pirate ship on the puzzle page) here are a couple of things to try:
1) Click on the following link to download and install Adobe Flash Player 9
2) If you are using Internet Explorer 7, ensure Flash add-on is enabled by goin to Tools and select "Manage Add-Ons". Other browsers typically have a similar setting in options/preferences/add-ons/plugins.
