The cache is not at the
listed coordinates. There is no reason to go to the listed
coordinates to find the cache.
I have been looking at the
GrangerFam difficulty / terrain matrix lately and I’ve
noticed that there aren’t very many caches in Houston to help
us fill out the right and bottom sides of our matrix (i.e., harder
caches). I suspect that others may be in the same boat, so
I’m trying to help out my fellow cachers achieve their goals
by starting a series of, hopefully, challenging caches for those of
you who long fill in your matrices and don’t want too drive
to far to do it.
This cache is a 2/5. The 2 is
for the simple little puzzle below and the 5 is, well, for the fun
you will have when you retrieve it.
The cache can be reached without
a boat, but if you have a non-motorized boat, this may be a good
cache to use it on. Otherwise, you may get a bit wet while
retrieving it. However, given the heat this summer, you may want to
just swim for it.
Solve the below to find
the final cache coordinates.
Congratulations to TeamThung
and OneStepCloser for FTF and a very inventive method to get the
cache!
I’ve added a coordinate
verification so that you can be sure of your coordinates before you
make the trek to the final. Good luck!
