"The Cut", as it's known by the locals, is a branch of the Trinity River once used for transporting goods. Now, it's just a great place for fishing, skiing, canoeing (a new hobby of mine), and caching!
BE AWARE - THE CACHES IN THIS SERIES SHOULD NOT BE ATTEMPTED AT NIGHT!
This cache is dedicated to my great-grandmother Rose. When my mother was just a girl, Grammaw Rose would bring her to this very place to fish. I reached the site by canoe but it is also accessible by a dirt road that you may have noticed on your way to the parking area. The cache is a small camoed cylinder tied by a black string. The cache contains only a log and our ultra-rare signature item for the first to find.
