Geocache Description:

Part of the Six Flags Loop series.

Spain claimed the area of present-day Texas fron 1519-1685,
and again from 1690-1821.
For more than 100 years, it was only a claim, with little exploration or activity,
until the settlement of Ysleta [now El Paso] was established in 1681.
During the five years not included in this time frame,
France claimed the area.

If you want a certificate of completion for the series, just take the letter or letters on each log, arrange them to spell a Texas related term, and e-mail the owner for the certificate.

I parked at Bay Area Park and walked.
All caches are bike-friendly.
