Geocache Description:

The Lonely tree is as the title says a cache that was originally found at the foot of a lonely tree in a Horspath road recreation ground. It has had to be moved due to the local council re-planting!

Horspath road recreation ground has a small park and football area that local kids use regularly. This cache was originally at the foot of the obvious lonely tree/bush next to the football area. However due to the council re-planting the tree and making it impossible to hide the cache we have moved it to the boundary fence area at the foot of another tree.
This is our first cache, so please don’t complain if it is too easy!
This cache is a small plastic container containing a few small items for swaps. It is at the foot of a tree and is at ground level. You will need to reach in just under the fence to find it. Please do make sure you cover it up when returning the cache as the area is popular for picnics in the summer .
