A quick park and grab micro just off Hwy 47. Bring your own pen or pencil. Convenient parking on the stub road next to the cache location. Please be good neighbors and do not block the nearby driveway. Also, keep a close eye on the kiddie cachers as the traffic can be heavy at times. Stealth required due to the multitude of mobile muggles.
This cache takes its name from the nearby public utility. While not normally as odiferous as Sweet Smell of O’Fallon, there are days when you’ll be glad this is a quick find. I’ve been driving by this area for many years and have noticed a “ripening” that must be related to the high level of growth Troy has experienced in the past decade, which has increased the workload of all public utilities.
So, hold your nose, jump out of the car, find this little puppy and sign the log. Hey, nobody ever said every cache has to be pretty!
