As it is his 40th birthday, I think I should embarrass him by
telling you about his school days. He wasn’t very good at English
and never loved his ABC lessons. He always had to reach for the
dictionary to spell difficult words. However his love for maths
shone through and even in those English lessons he was often caught
counting letters. He was also pretty useless at games; his PE
teacher thought his running style was a throwback to the 30’s.
Little did his teachers know that 30 years later he would apply
his maths skills to find Tupperware hidden in bushes!
