The summer of 2009 is ending. Secret American radar in Brdy
highlands (which is thought that it does not exist) suddenly
detects strange objects in the Pilsner surroundings, which are
moving towards Bolevec ponds. These objects were also seen by local
residents and they took several pictures of these strange objects.
On the picture it is possible to see ashlar-shaped subjects falling
down with an attached parachute.
Several research teams arrived to the finding point but they found
just detached parachutes. After a long search scientists managed to
find one specimen which was hidden somewhere in the bush near a
traffic sign but it was showing no activity. The legs which were
seen on the photos were missing. Scientist took the object to the
laboratory for detailed analysis.
It was succeeded to obtain a part of the scientific report in which
are written up a scientific findings:

Found object resembles of a robot. On the photos can be seen
robotic legs that probably serve for moving. However the found
specimen has its legs retracted inside the body. On the upper side
of the case were found two prominence and during examining
scientists managed to start an acoustic and optical manifestations,
but the team has been unable to decipher the code. It is assumed
that the code could refer to a certain place because the robots
could work as samples collectors and then, when they find the
preprogrammed place, they can transmit analyzed samples data to
their creators. Such place should be higher than the surrounding
terrain with minimal tree cover where the robot can easily send a
signal. After the data transmitting the robot probably hide itself
bellow the ground.
Code decipherment was handed over to the DCD (Decoding
Department):
The code is composed of longer and shorter light pulses
accompanied by an acoustic signal. For the decipherment were used
sophisticated methods but only a part has been deciphered.
Deciphered part of the code is attached at the end of this
report.
Trying to decode the message finished when appeared orange flashes
accompanied by rapid acoustic warning, which probably inform that
the robot has a shortage of energy. A way how to boost the robot's
energy has not been found yet - it is just known to the creator of
the robot.

Here, unfortunately, the report ends, because scientists have tried
to dismantle found objects for a more detailed analysis, but it
exploded shortly after opening and large explosion destroyed the
entire building!
Therefore, if you manage to find a similar
subject, under no circumstances make an attempt to disassemble
it!
Your task will be study the scientific report thoroughly and
summarize your findings. When you are ready, go to the place of the
last finding, and explore the surroundings. Rumour has it that the
robot was last seen by local children, hidden within an object,
where it was possible to get in by pulling its upper part away,
whereas the lower part was held in the other hand.
If you happen to be successful in finding the mysterious object,
make sure that you are on the spot on your own, because often there
are people around who are not aware of the presence of strange
objects and they could destroy them, and thus end the efforts of
all researchers!
Try carefully to take out the found robot from its hiding place and
go to a remote location to avoid the disclosure of the hiding
place, which may be investigated further in the future.
It may happen that you will find shelter empty, because other
researcher is probably ahead of you and is currently trying to hit
the nail on the head. So go for a little walk around the area and
come to the hiding place a little while later, then surely you will
succeed.
At any case try to be discreet, the mystery
has to stay in a narrow scientific society!
Now comes the second phase of your research. Your task is to find a
way in which the robot could start showing a code signals and then
try to decipher obtained code. As a guide can be your knowledge
from the scientific report. Handy tools are: paper and pencil or a
mobile phone with a contact number to another scientist who is an
expert in decoding.
Have you managed to decipher the code?
CONGRATULATIONS! The whole team of
scientists didn't manage that. From the scientific report you know
that these could be the coordinates of a place which is suitable
for the robot to broadcast. Therefore quietly return the specimen
back to its shelter in order to be examined by other scientists and
head out to the decoded location.
When you get to the final destination, surely you'll notice the
surrounding, which precisely matches the presuppositions of the
scientists, a location on an elevated site with a little
vegetation. Obviously there will be a nice view of the
surrounding...
Maybe just a shell remained of the buried robot which can be
deformed by pressure into a cylindrical shape. If you find this
shell, either take out or put in it just things on similar/the same
theme.
The hiding place has to be reinstate after discovery and also
surroundings has to be mask to be sure that everything stays
confidential!
NOTE:
Not far from the finding place there are two car parks located so
it is possible to get there by a car but afterwards it is
recommended to continue on foot.
There is possibility of slight spotting when the weather is
unfavourable, therefore it is recommended to exchange your lounge
suit for a clothing suitable to the nature.
