Budova Ceskoslovenského Rozhlasu v
Plzni
Verím, že vetšina
Plzenanu ani netuší, že budova Ceského Rozhlasu v Plzni
na námesti Míru je pamatkove chránenou stavbou. Vetšina z
nich ale urcite ví, kde budovu Rozhlasu najde, a také, jak vypadá.
Budova byla navržena v roce 1947 architekty F. Hurtem, V.
Pavelkou a K. Tausenauem. Na rešení akustické cásti se
podleli R. Haisinger a E. Nemcová. Projekt byl realizován v letech
1948-1952. Budova byla navržena a realizována výlucne pro
úcely tehdejšího Ceskoslovenského Rozhlasu v Plzni. Patrí
mezi nejhodnotnejší funkcionalistickou architekturu na území
Plzne.
Stavebne se jedná o stavbu na
nepravidelném pudorysu, s plochou strechou a o trech nadzemních
podlaží. Další zajímavostí je to, že projekt nebyl
realizován celý (nebylo dostaveno nahrávací a koncertní studium pro
symfonická telesa). Bylo zde použito ve své dobe
nejmodernejších stavebních technologií a materiálu. Byla zde
poprve realizována stavba tzv. plovoucího studia, kdy je studium
dusledne oddeleno od konstrukce budovy. Kvalita takto realizovaného
studia je taková, že ani nízké prelety vrtulníku záchranné
služby k blízké nemocnici nenaruší prubeh natácení.
Výsledkem je tedy budova, která krome hodnotného architektonického
zpracováni vykazuje velmi kvalitní technické parametry.
I plzenský Rozhlas hrál klícovou roli
v srpnu 1968. Stovky lidí bránily prostor pred Rozhlasem. Díky
tehdejšímu rediteli Rozhlasu V. Semradovi se ale situace v
Plzni nevyhrotila tak jako v Praze. Reditel pozval do budovy
velitele okupacní tankové jednotky a dlouze s nim o celé situaci
vyjednával. Plzensky Rozhlas jako jediný, i díky technikum
zajištujícím prenos k vysílacum, neztichl. Ke 40. výroci
usporádal Rozhlas vzpominkový akt. Tank, který tam pri tomto výrocí
stál, však ve skutecnosti nedojel až pred budovu.
Všechny zustaly stát v nedaleké Klostermannove ulici.

Keska je velikosti small, obsahuje
tuzku a orezavatko. Vypocet souradnic je velice jednoduchý:
1) Na výchozích souradnicích (u vchodu) zjistíte popisné císlo
budovy Rozhlasu - ABCD
2) Obejdete budovu (protože kvuli tomu tady jste, abyste si ji
rádne prohlédli) a zjistíte pocet garážových (plechových) vrat

The Building of Ceskoslovenský
Rozhlas in Pilsen
I believe that most of Pilsen's
inhabitants have no idea that the Czech Radio building in Pilsen at
the Námestí Míru square is a listed building. But most of them know
where to find the Radio building, and also how it looks like. The
building was designed in 1947 by architects F. Hurt, V. V. Pavelka
and K. Tausenau. The acoustic part of the project was designed by
Haisinger R. and E. Nemcová. The project ran from 1948 to 1952. The
building was designed and realized exclusively to be used by the
former Czechoslovak Radio in Plzen. It belongs to the most valuable
functionalist architecture in Pilsen.
The building has an irregular floor
plan, with a flat roof and three floors. Another interesting fact
is that the whole project was not realized in its entirety (the
recording and concert studio for symphony orchestras remained
unfinished). The most modern construction technologies and
materials of their time were utilized in the construction. The
so-called floating studio was created here for the first time,
where the studio is strictly separated from the building structure.
The quality of a studio constructed this way is so superior, that
even a rescue helicopter flying low to a nearby hospital does not
disturb the recording. The result is a building which, apart from
the valuable architectural design, has very good technical
parameters.
Also the Czechoslovak Radio in Pilsen
played a key role in August 1968. Hundreds of people guarded the
radio building. Thanks to the Radio director V. Semrád, the
situation in Pilsen was more pacific compared to that in Prague.
The director invited the commander of the occupation tank units and
had a long discussion with him about the entire situation. The
Czechoslovak Radio in Plzen was the only one to continue
broadcasting, also thanks to the technicians who provided the
transmission to the transmitters. The Czech Radio arranged a
cremony to commemorate the 40th anniversary. The tank that was
standing in front of the building during the anniversary ceremoy in
reality never came all the way to the building. All of them
remained standing in the nearby Klostermann street.
The Cache
The cache is a classic small
container. It contains a pencil and a sharpener. It is very easy to
calculate the coordinates:
1) At the initial coordinates (at the entrance), you will find the
land registry number of the Rozhlas building – ABCD
2) Then you will walk around the building (that being the reason
for your trip, to take a really good look at it), counting how many
garage (metal) doors there are – E
3) And you will complete the calculation of the coordinates
according to the formula

Caution: The location is fairly busy,
there are a lot of muggles in its proximity, so be especially
cautious, or better yet, go hunting for the cache when it is
dark!
