Many thanks to The Cache Hoppers for setting this cache.

The original Thames Towpaths frequently crossed sides and ferries used to link them. The ferries are now no more, and the Thames Path frequently diverts away from the River, as it does here by the pretty Gatehampton Ferry Cottage.

Directions from Gatehampton Trail 4 (as some cachers may be doing the loop in reverse): Take the right fork, go past the sign for Daisytown and keep left. Continue straight on, taking the footpath. Turn right at the footpath sign towards the river.
