I was taking a short hike a few days ago when another schquankie
flew directly at me. I instinctively swatted at him and made
contact. He let out an odd sounding screech, dropped what appeared
to be a pocket watch and flew behind some brush. I quickly grabbed
the instrument and ran as fast as I could back to the
cachemobile.
When I began examining the finely crafted mechanism I was
amazed. It had five rotating dials which provided a secret message
that led me to another schquankie nest.
Schquankies have been previously sighted
here and
there. Yes, they continue to spread. They now appear to be an
intelligent life-form and may have evil intentions. Be careful. We
already know they eat caches.
