Helmut Berens Park has become a focal point of sports in
Elmhurst. This park has some premiere softball/baseball fields,
football & soccer! And that's not all......the York H.S. Tennis
Team uses the tennis courts here too!
There are a lot of fun family activities to keep everyone happy
while spending the afternoon or evening watching Sporting Events ~
a minature golf course, spray water park, batting cages, concession
stands and a park for climbing & swinging. In the winter this
park is still a hive of activity with sledders having lots of fun
on "the hill"........
........ I ran across an article that I was sure
must be a mistake.
.........the hill doesn't only
get use in the winter but a group of people are keeping in shape
and having fun all summer long here! Check out the link and see if
