Søndag d. 17. maj 2009 er en dato man vil huske i FDF Aaby-Vedsted
kredsen, den dag indviede kredsen sit eget hus efter 35 år. Kredsen
Aaby-Vedsted har eksisteret i godt 35 år og blev startet af FDF
ildsjælene Else & Carl-Åge Ring Madsen. Kredsen har haft
til huse flere steder i de år, som er gået bl.a. i private hjem. I
nogle år holdt kredsen til på Bakgården, som lagde ved siden af
rådhuset i Aabybro. Men dette sted måtte kredsen flytte fra, da
stedet skulle rives ned, for her skulle der bygges boliger. Kredsen
blev så stillet en byggegrund og hjælp til bygning af et kredshus i
udsigt, dette trak dog ud. Men med kommunalreformen, hvor Aabybro
Kommune blev en del af Jammerbugt Kommune kom der et nyt byråd, som
var mere positivt stemt for ideen om et kredshus til FDF
Aaby-Vedsted. Så var problemet bare finansieringen, her havde et
pengeinstitut i Aabybro lovet at hjælpe, pengeinstituttet sprang
dog fra men heldigvis var der et andet i Aabybro der gerne ville
hjælpe.
Nu skulle man jo så tro at kredsen
problemer var ovre, men byggefirmaet som blev bestilt til bygningen
af huset, ja de trak projektet i langdrag.
Men i dag har Aaby-Vedsted kredsen en drøm
af et hus i to plan med masser af muligheder for aktiviteter,
herunder egen kommende klatrevæg. Endda på en 3,5 hektar stor grund
med bålhytte, tovbro, 4000 nyplantede træer og masser af nysgerrige
fasaner. Grunden omkring har man døbt Torngårdens
Tumleplads, du er velkommen til at gå rundt og bese
faciliteterne og en tur på tovbroen er også tilladt, blot du ikke
forstyrre hvis FDFérne har aktiviteter i gang.

ligger lige for, men selvfølgelig skal vi drille.

their own house after 35 years. FDF Aaby-Vedsted has existed for

Madsen. FDF Aaby-Vedsted have occupied several locations in
the years that have passed including in private homes.
In some years with FDF Aaby-Vedsted at Bakgården
wich where placed beside the town hall in Aabybro. But this place
had to move from when the site was demolished, for should be built
homes. FDF Aaby-Vedsted was then lodged a land and help
build a house in prospect, but this pulled off. But with the
municipal reform, which Aabybro Municipality was part of Jammerbugt
Municipality came a new council, which was more in favor of the
idea of a house in FDF Aaby-Vedsted. So the problem was just the
funding, here was a bank in Aabybro promised to help, the bank
withdrew, however, but luckily there was another in Aabybro who
wanted to help.
Now you would have so faithful to the FDF Aaby-Vedsted problems
were over, but the construction company which was commissioned for
the building of the house, yes, they pulled the project
protracted.
But today Aaby-Vedsted a dream of a house on two floors with plenty
of opportunities for activities, including his own upcoming
climbing wall. Even on a 3.5 acre plot with
fireplace, 4000 newly planted trees and lots of curious
pheasants. The reason some have dubbed Torngårdens
Tumleplads, you are welcome to walk around and inspect the
facilities and a trip to tovbroen is also allowed, only you do not
disturb if FDFérne have activities.
