Long Description
Rather than fill up the space here is a plagiarised history of St John’s Church, Randwick, let me commend you, if you are inclined towards such subjects, to another web-site. The village’s own web-site www.randwick.org.uk which covers the more modern information. This web-site also contains lots more information about the village including the world famous wap. For the older bits of history, try googling St John’s Church Randwick with “pages from the UK” checked. Ignore the first few Australian entries (not quite in the UK!) – Randwick, NSW is a large eastern suburb of Sydney, named after the birthplace of the district’s first mayor.
Being an old Cotswold village, Randwick was not designed for modern motor vehicles. There is parking available outside the church, but please park considerately, and avoid times when services are on. These are Sunday 9:00 am (1st Sunday in month), 10:30am (Other Sundays) and 6:30pm. The cache is placed on a public footpath just off church land, as per the rules of this series, with the kind permission of the padre.
There is also an excellent pub, The Vine Tree, so if you are visiting the area, please linger a longer, enjoy the village, and have a pint. Sounds like a good day to me.
UPDATE 03/08/2019 Detegeo was spot on. There were two caches. It seems the one that went AWOL in 2015 reappeared at some time and people have been finding one or the other ever since. This of course means that those who didn't find it had two chances!
The "obvious hole" referred to by some loggers was the original location for the cache, but it was a little too obvious so got muggled and replaced in a slightly more obscure location.
Because of the recent DNFs, I am amending this hint to say exactly where the cache is located. So, if you still want a challenge, don't reveal the hint!

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
There is now a Church Micro statistics page which can be viewed via the bookmark list
