Geocache Description:

Cache is a small Lock N Lock container with a Geocaching sticker attached to it. There is also some black duck tape covering the container to help with concealment. Cache contains the usual geocaching paraphernalia.

DANGER! please use caution if you want to see the falls. Very high risk and the reward may not be worth the trouble... 4 to 5 star difficulty to see the falls!

Take the Catamount trail till you find two blue bands painted on a tree 45 33.388, 065 14.130. This is the trail down to this very nice waterfalls. There is only orange flagging tape to mark the trail. I would like to know the name of these falls if anyone knows? Think it could be called the Gold Mine falls but I'm not sure as I thought it was further down river.

The "Catamount Trail was constructed in 1994. It started at the junction of the Fundy Footpath, runs parallel to the Quiddy River, continued across Cross Rd, up to Pigeons Camp, crosses the Shepody Rd, and continued to Adair's Lodge, and towards Cedar Camp.

The intention was to continue to Sussex Corner. The section between Adair's Lodge to the Shepody Rd is the only continuous section that is currently maintained. Recent forestry operations has obscured other sections. Trail Crew Volunteers are in the process of recovering these sections".
