Geocache Description:

Fairly straightforward cache with parking and panoramic views.

Huddersfield can boast 3 major transmitters in its area:
Pole Moor (MW radio)
Emley Moor (TV)
Holme Moss (FM radio)

Standing at the cache you can see all three (with the road behind you Pole Moor is the 2 masts in front of you, Emley Moor is to your right sticking out above the wood and Holme Moss is the spectacular one behind you).

On my journey home from work I get several views of Pole Moor and have often wondered where I might look at the 2 masts and see them perfectly aligned. So far I haven't yet found the answer though this site is pretty close. I welcome any suggestions to the perfect spot (publicly accessible of course).

The original cache having gone AWOL, its replacement is a micro so you need to bring a pencil. Beware of nettles.
