Second cache from series Kengas Secrets.
This cache is dedicated to beauty of Kengarags. During geocaching, you will have nice walk near the river Daugava, breathe fresh air and simply chill. You can bring with you rollers or bicycle, here is very nice place for riding. If you want to have a walk, you can start from N 56'54.822 E 024'10.172. Here is parking place near the school. From this point out trip starts. Through Kengarags there is very nice trail, which was reconstructed some time ago. Continue your walk to point N 56'54.474 E 024'10.673. In soviiet times here was a small bridge for watertram. Now, bridge is demolished, only stairs keep the secret of this bridge. On the point N 56'54.390 E 024'10.858 You will see a bridge across small canal, which is connecting Daugava with Lilly pond. Lilly pond is artificial pond, which was made by ceramics factory for clay extraction. Now it is in a very poor condition. On the point N 56'54.323 E 024'11.016 You can see one of the oldest buildings in Kengarags. This water supply depot was built for Škirotava(Sorting station).
