This is the fifth cache in a new circular walk series (Max's Hockley Wander) of 6 caches and aprox 4 miles from Hockley Heath. After the success of Max's Favourite Walk Series a few miles away at Packwood, we thought we would share this little amble with you.
Parking is plentiful in Hockley Heath, 3 pubs and a Park (behind old garage). Start is near to the Barn Pub & Restaurant, but finish is nearer the centre of Hockley Heath.
Cache is a screwtop container containing: Candle, Bag Marbles, Highlighter, Gel pen & Keyring.
From Paron, UWhat!! after crossing rd and taking lane diagonally opposite, continue down lane, just at bend before hill, take FP on right over stile and immediatley go through new gate and across new bridge. Keep fence on left and obelisk on right. Upon reaching gate to road bear right across field to pass just to the right of old building (old stile visible) forward through gateway & cross new slat stile. Keep hedge on left and walk down field to stile & bridge. Cross bridge and turn left on overgrown FP to road.
