Der Cache auf der Insel Korfu.
Auf unseren ersten Korfuurlaub im August September 2009 wollten wir mit unseren Kindern natürlich auch einige Caches suchen. Allerdings mußten wir feststellen, dass in unserer Unterkunftsgegend in Lefkimi Molos wenige Caches versteckt sind.So entschieden wir uns spontan im Süden von Korfu einen neuen Caches zu installieren. Wir nennen ihn den Muschelcachebeim Convent of the lady of Kokkinada. Wir haben
viele schöne Muscheln gesammelt. Tauscht diese mit Euren schönsten Muscheln. Falls ihr keine zur Verfügung habt, sind auch andere Kleinigkeiten möglich. Aber im Sinne des Cache sollte der Schwerpunkttausch schon Muscheln sein. Der Weg zum Cache Vom Norden der Insel kommend auf die Hauptverbindung von Korfu Stadt fahrt Richtung Süden bis zum Orteingang von Lefkimi. Von Korfu Stadt bis Lefkimi sind es 40 km. Man benötigt ungefähr eine Stunde. Kurz vor Lefkimi fahrt ihr an einem Schild mit der Aufschrift „Lidl 3
km“ und kurze Zeit später „Mega Market 200 vorbei.
Direkt schräg gegenüber dem Megamarket müßt ihr links in eine
kleine Straße einbiegen die zum Hotel Attika Beach (E 020°02.732 , N 39°26.181) führt. Ein kleines Schild weist rechts am Straßenrand darauf hin. Bis Attika Beach fahrt ihr kurvenreich und bergig durch einen Olivenwald 1,8 km. Nach einiger Zeit kommt ihr auf eine Straße zu,hier rechts abbiegen und noch 500 Meter bis ihr das Hotel passiert. Von hier aus weiter ca. 1,5 km bis zu einer Straßengabelung, hier rechts Richtung Lefkimi und nach ca. 1 km links Richtung Kavos. Nach ca. 25 Metern links in eine kleine Straße. Achtung, das Schild das auf griechisch auf das Kloster hinweist, bist aus dieser Fahrtrichtung nicht zu sehen. Wenn ihr an den blauen Müllcontainer vorbei kommt, seid ihr schon zu weit. Wenn
ihr diese kleine Straße 25 Meter folgt, erreicht ihr das Kloster
Kiras ton Angelon, oder auch als Convent of the lady of Kokkinada ausgeschildert. Der Cache... liegt ca 30 Meter rechts vom Parkplatz in einer Kurve in einem Olivenwald mit vielen alten knöchrigen Olivenbaeumen entfernt. In einem der Bäume gleich am Anfang ist der Cache versteckt.
Tipp: Die ersten drei sind es nicht, aber der........ist es.
Zum Kloster:
In dem bereits 1696 gegründeten Kloster, dessen Kirche noch aus jener Zeit stammt, leben heute noch zwei alte Nonnen. Zunächst führen sie die Besucher in die Kirche,
danch erhält man eine kleine Korfurer Süßigkeitsspezialität von der Nonne. Das Kloster hat eine eigene Atmosphäre, so das ein Besuch sich lohnt. Die Öffungszeiten sind: 8 Uhr bis 13 Uhr und 16 bis 20 Uhr jeden Tag.

The cache on the island of Corfu.
On our first Corfuurlaub in August, September 2009,
we were seeking with our children, of course, some caches. Kokkinada. The cache ... Residence is located about 30 meters from the parking area right at a bend in an olive grove with many old olive trees and bony. In one of the trees at the beginning of the cache is hidden.

Back to the Monastery:
The 1696 is already established the
monastery, whose church still from that time, two old nuns still
live. First, they lead visitors into the church, Danch we get a
little sweetness Korfurer specialty of the nun. The monastery has
its own atmosphere, so that a visit is worthwhile. The opening
hours are: 8 clock until 13 clock and 16 to 20 clock every day.
